The estate

In the heart of the Cher valley, nestled in the hills above Saint-Julien-de-Chédon, we’ve been cultivating our vines for 4 generations.

Our estate covers 36 hectares of AOC Touraine, where we create unique wines accessible to all.

2023 marks an important milestone for the estate, with the organic certification of all its vintages. This step, the fruit of a long-standing commitment, is in line with Jean-François’ determination to produce quality wines while respecting the environment.

At our place we don’t go down to the cellar. We go up there!

Come and discover the Estate’s treasures from yesteryear and enjoy and educational moment about the work in the vineyard through history dedicated to the youngers and olders. Self guided tours only.

Our history

Georgina was widowed after the Second World War, and began wine production on her own. Her daughter Paulette married Jean, and together they took care of the estate’s economic development.
It was then their son Jacky who brought the estate a fine reputation thanks to the quality of his wines and his love of the land.

He also contributed to the creation of the estate as it is today, with its share of plantations and vineyard restructuring.
Jean-François took over the family estate in 2000, after studying in Bordeaux. He began his professional career in Châteauneuf du Pape Sancerres and South Africa.
Since taking over, he has been committed to helping the world discover the terroir he loves so much!

Jean-François

Winemaker

A true young enthusiast of vineyard work, where he learned the values of well-executed work and a sense of sharing, Jean-François chose to become a winemaker at the age of 15. After completing his studies, he began to learn other skills, particularly with red wines, which he particularly appreciates.

Thanks to his creativity, he has succeeded in developing unexpected red wines that are now among the finest in the Cher valley.
